A lot of shoppers this Christmas season are out to shop for laptop computers with a need to watch their spending, and with good reason given the uncertain economic news.  Undoubtedly many shoppers who were looking for new laptop or notebook computers are considering a cheap notebook alternative this year.  A sweet spot in  laptops this year are refurbished Laptops Under $300.  A search of online auctions Laptops Under $300 shows hundreds of great bargain laptops  in DELL and other popular brands.  Typically a laptop for under $300 can be found equipped with a 1.5 Ghz processor, CD/DVD, 60GB Hard-Drive,  WIFI equipped, and outfitted with Windows XP and an Office Software Suite.  As an example a recent check revealed many DELL D600 models and IBM T42 models for sale at a laptops shop price just under $300.
